A business move is judged on one thing: how long you were not trading. Everything else — how neatly the desks were wrapped, how tidy the old unit was left — is secondary to whether Monday morning worked.
So we plan backwards from that. What has to be live first, what can follow, what can sit in storage for a fortnight while the new fit-out finishes. Then we build a sequence, agree an access window at both ends, and work through it out of hours.
City-centre offices
Spinningfields, NOMA, Piccadilly and the Deansgate corridor. Building management rules, booked lifts and out-of-hours access windows — the same constraints as a residential tower, with more kit and a shorter tolerance for downtime.
Industrial and trade units
Trafford Park, Wigan, Oldham and the units strung along the M60. Racking, machinery, stock and workshop fit-out. Loading is usually easier; the weight and the sequencing are harder.
Retail and hospitality
High-street units and shopping-centre pitches across the boroughs. Fit-out, stock and back-of-house equipment, moved between close of trade and opening so the shutters go up on time.
Professional practices
Solicitors, accountants, clinics and studios. Confidential files move in sealed, numbered crates with a chain of custody, and IT goes in properly crated rather than loose in a box.

Survey and sequence
We walk both sites, agree the access windows, and write the order things move in. Departments get colour codes; desks get numbers.
Crate and move
Crates delivered ahead so staff pack their own desks. IT crated separately. The move itself happens outside your trading hours.
Set up and clear
Everything placed to the floor plan, crates collected once you have unpacked, and anything surplus taken to storage or disposed of responsibly.

Office removals — your questions
Can you move us outside working hours?
That is normally how commercial moves run. Evenings, weekends and bank holidays are standard for us. The point is that your staff leave one office on Friday and walk into a working one on Monday.
Who disconnects and reconnects the computers?
We crate, transport and place the hardware, and we can work alongside your IT provider so the decommission and recommission slot into the same window. If you would rather we did not touch live infrastructure at all, say so and we will move everything around it.
How do you handle confidential files?
Sealed, numbered crates with a documented handover at both ends. Nothing loose, nothing left on a landing. For regulated practices we will work to whatever record-keeping your compliance team needs.
Do you supply the crates?
Yes — reusable plastic crates rather than cardboard for office moves, delivered ahead of time so your team can pack their own desks. We collect them afterwards.
Can you store furniture we do not need at the new site?
Yes. A lot of office moves involve downsizing, and the surplus desks and cabinets go into containerised storage until you decide whether to keep, sell or dispose of them. See our storage service.
We are moving between boroughs. Does that complicate it?
Not particularly — the M60 makes most cross-county runs straightforward. What complicates a commercial move is access windows and building rules at either end, not the distance between them.
